White Oak is a large tree native to eastern America. It can become broad, with branches at wide angles. Bark color is light gray. In spring the young leaves are silvery, pale, and covered with a soft down, resulting in a frosty look. Summer leaves are a deep glossy green, usually turning red, purple, or brown in autumn.
