Acer triflorum

Acer Triflorum is the most similar to the paper bark maple with the trilobum leaves and light tan exfoliating bark. The three flowered Maple definitely deserves its recognition. Fall color is a mixture of oranges and reds the tree appears to be on fire in the fall. The tan exfoliating bark is great for winter interests. Plant is slightly taller than wide with attractive vase like habit. A mature plant may be 25' tall and 20' wide. Great for off the corner of the house or out in the landscape. Looks great with Creeping Blue Spruce, Black Scallop Ajuga, and Cripsii False Cypress. Rare and seldom seen.
