'Ruby Slippers' is a dwarf oakleaf hydrangea with huge cone-shaped flowers that open white and quickly age to deep pink. Blooms are displayed against dark green oak-shaped leaves. In autumn, foliage turns a shiny reddish chocolate color. Great planted singly or as a short hedge, this small bush will be 3-4' tall by 3-5' wide, and blooms heavily from mid summer on. Hardy to zones 5-9.
