Hosta 'Raspberry Sundae'

Hosta 'Raspberry Sundae' small Hosta growing to 9" tall and 21"wide. The foliage has a crisp variegation with cream to white in the center and a medium green margin. The plant gets its name from the profound contrast the burgundy leaf bases, flower stalks and petioles provide against the foliage. The flowers are a deep lavender and long blooming. remove the spent flowers to promote re-bloom. Plant Raspberry Sundae in full shade to part shade. Filtered light, evening and morning sun are ok The flowers of this cultivar make a great fresh cut flower.  This plant is hardy from zones 4-9.
