Picea Orientalis 'Golden Start' is considered a medium sized conifer, with a broad upright form. The needles experience change in color throughout the duration of their maturing, new needles are a sharp yellow-green while they transition into a deep dark green once they are older. This plant prefers full to partial sun in well-drained soil and can grow up to 8' tall and 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 4.
