Barabitz Star is a slow growing silver fir that holds a globe shape as it matures. The medium green needles surround each branch and give it a soft look that is pleasing to the eye. In ten years this showy evergreen can reach 5 feet. It can be incorporated as a solid green backdrop in larger landscape beds or used as a centerpiece in smaller rock gardens.
