Coral Sun is a small ornamental tree which showcases a stunning array of colors. Finely-cut foliage is salmon-pink at first, changing to golden orange and pure yellow, then soft green in summer. Long panicles of yellow flowers may appear in summer, followed by decorative, lantern-shaped seed pods. Older foliage turns deep yellow in autumn, with isolated leaves of fiery orange or coral. Trunk, branches and petioles remain red-orange. Can use as a large shrub, pruning in late winter or early spring to encourage colorful new growth. Grow in full sun for best flowering. Hardy to zones 5-8.
