Golden Larch is a pyramidal tree with an open, horizontal branching structure. The lovely light green foliage of spring deepens and becomes a dazzling golden flame in fall. Native to China, it is one of the 50 fundamental hubs used in Chinese herbology. This decidious conifer grows slowly enough to be integrated into a small landscape. Hardy from zones 4-7. Grow this plant in average soil in full to part sun. Rare in the nursery trade and seldom seen outside arboretums and botanical gardens.
