FireDance is a compact red-stem dogwood. Spring clusters of white flowers followed by white berries make this shrub quite attractive to butterflies and birds. Foliage and stalks are green through summer, then leaves darken to purple. Wood becomes a blaze of bright red in early winter. For best color, plant in sun. Tolerant of moist locations. Grows 3' tall by 5' wide. Hardy to zones 2-7.
